Photo session in Rouen (Normandy)
January 27, 2009
As you may know I’m quite into photography since I bought a nice camera. Yesterday I hang around Rouen with my wide lense while the sun was getting down.
Here is the cathedral of Rouen the highest arrow (in the middle) is around 150m high.
This is now the tourism center and formely the finalcial office during the 16e century when it has been built:

CJE – Interview Louis Schweitzer
January 26, 2009
I was invited the 21st of January to the CJE (Club Junior Entreprise). This is a regular event organized by the CNJE (Confederation Nationale des Junior Entreprises). Thanks to SEPEFREI the Junior Entreprise I was involved when I was at EFREI I was invited to go there.
I was really surprised to discover Louis Schweitzer. I only knew that he used to be Renault CEO and he is now the President of the HALDE (Haute Autorité de Lutte contre les Discriminations et pour l’Egalité). Thanks to this interview I discover that Louis Schweitzer was into politics in the socialist party before taking is position in Renault. It was really interesting to have the opinion of a “left CEO” about crisis, tough decisions he had to take as a CEO and so on… If you want to see the full interview (in french) in video

I still need to find a flat around south Paris.
Again!
January 18, 2009
Ok it’s 2009 now. As usual everybody take good resolution for the coming year. Why not putting again the idea of updating this blog. I’m always wondering why I can’t update it regularly. In China it was hard even if I succeed to install TOR, I had to wait for ages to have the new post page. It was to painfull and then my laptop was at the repair center…
If you want to follow a little more what’s happening for me just go on twitter: twitter.com/pierrickblons
Anyway after travelling for more than one year outside of France, I’m back. I’ve been studying in UK in Bath. Then I moved in Beijing, China and worked at CMUNE for 10 months. I will talk much more about CMUNE in another post. This company is great and they are building an amazing product! That was my final internship and I graduated in October 2008. I’m now officially a french engineer from EFREI. After my internship I decided to come back closer to my familly and girlfriend.
So that’s it. I think it’s a good time now to step back a little bit. Thinking about everything I saw during this last year. I met amazing people from all over the world it’s was definitely a great experience. I will try to use this blog maybe to talk about things that happened during this last year. Maybe I will work a little bit more on Sightweb too. I’m very ashamed that I didn’t go further with Xavier but I think we will do something about it in the next few weeks
Now I’m trying to find a job and a flat in Paris.I applied to work at Microsoft France and waiting for the answer.
Here we go now let’s try again to animate this blog a little
TOR vs. The Great Firewall
June 17, 2008
I’m back ^^
Finally with the release of Firefox 3, the TOR plugin has been updated and works fine. I can now come back on my blog from China. It’s quite slow but it works. So I will try to write all my crazy experiences here. Unfortunately some of them are no so fresh in my mind after 3 months. But the next ones will arrive quite soon. I also open another blog related to Internet called Sightweb with a friend. We write about Internet in China and France, new startups and so on…
Let’s wait for the Euro Cup now: France – Italy (around 3am in Beijing!)
WordPress et Google analytics
December 1, 2007
* Perfect for taking advantage of everything broadband has to offer. Download films and music, play games online, watch videos and listen to the radio – all with no limits. Fair usage policy applies

Want to discover the world?
November 26, 2007
I have heard about this website this summer in a french tv show but they didn’t tell the url… Finnally thanks to an article on 01NET about social network I found it! This is a community of people who share their flat, house, room or even the floor to accomodate people. I don’t have to accomodate people if you want to take part of the network so you can feel free to travel everywhere in the world.

After registering the volounteers from this community will validate your profil. I’m still waiting for their reply…
So will you be interested in charing your flat? Or discover the world? I think that when I will have free time and money I will try! I need to discover this amazing world!

– Update: I just receive the confirmation mail, so perhaps a new post about this social network in few days.
Web 2.0 à toutes les sauces!
November 8, 2007
